🎍 Euro Truck Simulator 2 Camera Settings
I am a keyboard and mouse player. I use the mouse to move the camera every time, but I feel that the sensitivity is too high. It seems that there is no place to adjust it in the game settings menu?
I only know of 2 settings that control these features (but there could be more). Go into your Documents folder and look inside your Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder. Open up the config.cfg file using Notepad. Scroll down and find these 2 lines:
Press Q/A to go up, E to go down. X and C can be used to tilt the camera left and right on its axis. Additionally, you can also press these buttons directly on the panel. The R key will allow you to reset camera placement and settings all at once. The camera overlay displayed when moving 2) FOV slider Probably the most important setting of all.
I applied a little more logic to it and found instead the setting constant c_msens 0.330000. This is the setting you want for this specific use-case. I cranked mine up to 0.88 and it's perfect. Hope this helps.

Before you start playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS 2), it’s crucial to adjust your steering wheel settings and sensitivity for an optimal gaming experience. This process is essential, especially if you’re using a new steering wheel or have recently updated the game.
It is possible to look below you (90° down), and above you (90° up). It is possible to look behind the driver's seat (turn 180°). Adjusted camera shift smoothness (on some trucks, it twitched). Adjusted default camera view and position in cab on standard and mod trucks. (to make this mod work with the mods on trucks, place this mod above them)
13. 55 mph is the speed limit for trucks in most European countries. What you are doing wrong is speeding. You can see the full list for speed limits in the Wikipedia article for speed limit. Here are some examples: Germany: 80-100 kph (49-62 mph) Italy: 70-80 kph (43-49 mph) Poland: 70-80 kph (43-49 mph)
Kirimaru_. • 3 yr. ago. I find it very useful. It seems to simulate the way we move our head driving irl. I set it to maximum but it takes getting used to at first. You have to keep a hand by the mouse to override it. Also I think it should only engage when moving and only when moving forward. 1. r/EuroTruck2.
If so, why not program a button to be your inside camera view and then just press it when you're done looking around. Or try out the setting where the camera turns as you turn the wheel towards where you are heading. That setting is under Gameplay. theclumsygeek. OP • 8 yr. ago.
tweak the linearity to %3 (some people don't like it so you can pass on this if you don't really get used to it) your mouse's DPI matter too, i recommend 750. there is mods to enhance the steering for mouse and keyboard. use your cruise control it is a MUST. Bind it somewhere accessible and don't forgot to bind the raise/lower the cruise control.
i guess you could have a look in controls sii and try editing the jsteer settings. also, the vanilla rear car/truck rotation camera (the 3rd person vehicle cam) is an utter nightmare so i set max offset to 0. the 3rd person cam is now locked behind the car/truck just like any other regular driving/racing game. its so much sweeter. practically
